MOTHER'S DAY DINNER

On mother's day, I gave my wife a dinner treat at a Japanese restaurant in a 5 star hotel in the city. It was a real disappointment as the quality of Japanese food has seriously deteriorated since our last visit almost a year ago.
Both the starters of baby octopus and the maki sushi rolls were disappointing as the octopus were  tough while the sushi maki were more to the local taste.

The main dishes of "tempura" and "unagi" sets were another disappointment. The broken pieces of "unagi" fillet in thick black sauce was not what I expected. The tempura set was greasy and tasteless. The rice was not properly prepared and the salad was not appetizing in look and taste.
