FIRST MALAYSIA AIRLINES' A380 LANDED AT KLIA

Malaysia Airlines has taken the delivery of their first A380 (9M-MNA) in Toulouse and landed  at KLIA at 15:55 on 30 May 2012.
The new "big bird" approaching KLIA.

The A380 is the world's largest and most eco-efficient aircraft. Malaysia Airlines' A380 is powered by Rolls-Royce Trent 900 engines and featuring a premium 3-class layout accommodating 494 passengers.
First and Business class are fixed with fully flat beds while Economy class has the new and wider seats. All seats are equipped with the latest individual inflight entertainment systems, USB ports and satellite telephone facilities.

This super jumbo will initially operate thrice-weekly Kuala Lumpur-London route beginning 01 July and later daily when the second A380 is delivered in August. The third A380 will be deployed to the Kuala Lumpur-Sydney route. Malaysia Airlines has ordered a total of six A380.

With A380 in the fleet, I hope Malaysia Airlines will be able to reinforce their position as one of the preferred premium carriers and return to their glory days.

I wonder why the paint work of the new aircraft is so plain and boring. Where are the flares and the red-blue trademark kite which are featured in their A330 and B737?
The livery of the A330.

Good luck and all the best to Malaysia Airlines.
