Two pairs of the pink-necked pigeons came for the fruits of the Bayan tree near our home. I took the opportunity to try out my camera skill. The pink-necked pigeon is the most common of the green pigeons in Borneo. They are found in the coastal and secondary forest. These birds move around in small flocks feeding on fruits and berries.

It's difficult to take clear shots as the birds were hopping from branch to branch feeding.
Sometimes, hardly visible as the green plumage provided a great camouflage.

These birds are not only found in Borneo but they are also found in Cambodia, Indonesia, Myanmar, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam. Subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests are their natural habitats.
