24 HOURS INDIAN RESTAURANTS

In Kota Kinabalu, if you are hungry and feel like eating after midnight or at any odd time, the best place to go is one of the Indian restaurants which are opened 24 hours. Like fast food chain, they have cooked food ready to serve within minutes. For me, I prefer their specialties, like the "Roti canai" and "Murtabak".

The "Murtabak", a delicious roti (pancake) stuffed with minced mutton, egg, onion or beef, or chicken.
"Roti Canai telur" is a favourite. It's a pancake filled with an omelette wrapped. It goes very well with dhal (lentil curry) or any type of curry, such as mutton or chicken curry. A cup of Tek tarik (Indian style mick tea) after the meal is superb.
Last Friday, I tried out the "Nasi biryani", a popular mixed rice dish made with spices, rice, meat and vegetables.  It was delicious!

Malaysian Indian restaurants offer great variety of food with reasonable pricing. The cooking of the  Indian food in Malaysia consists of adaptations of dishes from India, as well as original creations inspired by the diverse food culture of Malaysia.
