Jalan Jalan & makan makan IN BRISBANE

A friend of ours invited us for a dinner in the city. She selected this "Little Singapore" restaurant in Albert street, about a minute walk from Queen Street mall.
 Roti canai set.
  Hainanese chicken rice.

The quality and the taste of their food was average. However, if you miss the Malaysia - Singapore cuisine, you may not be disappointed.

Not far from Little Singapore, we tried out this "Passion Tree" cafe in Elizabeth street.
Quite a busy place.
The "Green Tea Latte" was not too bad!
Cakes were well presented and sweet!
Price wise, it's a bit expensive,  but you are earning Australian Dollars, it's OK!

It was "Father's day" in Australia and we were invited by our cousin's family to celebrate the occasion in their Brisbane home. It was a feast of superb home cooking.
Roasted lamb, pumpkin, potatoes and salad.
Coffee, home made pear tart, and ice cream to end the dinner.
