MOUNT KINABALU

Mount Kinabablu is normally not visible in the evening from the city. However, this magnificent mountain view was caught by Miura san onboard MH81, last Monday, as the aircraft was descending to Kota Kinabalu International airport. Mount Kinabalu or also known as Gunung Kinabalu is one of the highest mountain in Southeast Asia standing at 4,095 metres (13,435 ft) above sea level. This World Heritage has over 600 species of ferns and 320+ species of birds in its surroundings is among the most important biological sites in the world.

Mt.Kinabalu is also popular with mountain climbers. According to seasonal climbers, it is one of the most climber-friendly mountain. The peak of the mountain can be conquered quite easily by a person in good physical condition as no mountaineering equipment is required at any point on the main route.
