We boarded Malaysia Airlines' B777-200 on 30th of November at Kota Kinabalu International Airport for Narita for a 11 days break to Japan. 
On-time departure - taking-off in excellent weather condition.
What a poor load factor flight with many empty seats.
I was very disappointed with the in-flight meal. Perhaps, Malaysia Airlines, a 5-star airlines, is still tightening its belt by providing "Jimat" (save cost) meals. I would rather have Nasi Campur in Wisma Mederka rather than this soggy kurma chicken. The starter and the dessert were simply awful. The In flight services provided by this set of crew was average.
The only compliment to Malaysia Airlines - arriving safely and on time so we that could catch our hotel bus to Holiday Inn Tobu Narita.
We were greeted by this colourful decoration of Santa and his sleigh on arrival at the Hotel. The Japanese has good X'MAS spirit but I believe it is for commercial reasons. .
