NEW YEAR DAY TREAT - JAPANESE FOOD

On New Year day, I had the urge to eat Japanese food. So I drove over to City Mall as there are two Japanese restaurants there. We wanted to try out "HANA" but it was full so we moved over to "SUSHI KING". I opted for a Teriyaki don and a set of Unagi Sushi while my daughter ordered a Sake don. This was the Teriyaki don served - a big disappointement !. Four pieces of very dry chicken slices without a taste or hint of teriyaki sauce! Perhaps, the cook is a Malaysian who is more used to selling chicken rice! This Sake don was likewise very dry.This was the worst Unagi sushi I have eaten so far.

Not satisfied with the franchise, SUSHI KING, We went over to Fujiyama "Yatai" (屋台) in Sedco open air place at Kampung Air. Endo san, the owner, prepared his favourites for us. The Chirashi sushi and tempura prawns were delicious! " おいしかった"
