Last weekend, we flew Malaysia Airlines from Kota Kinabalu to Kuala Lumpur on their B737-800,
This was the inflight meal served for the two hours and 20 minutes flight in economy class.
In the evening, we drove to Kajang with our nephew's family to try out the popular Kajang satay at a Haji Samuri outlet in Bangunan Dato Nazir.
The B737-800
Over South China Sea
Malaysia Airlines is now operating a brand new fleet of B737-800 with in flight entertainment for every seat in the business and economy class cabins..This was the inflight meal served for the two hours and 20 minutes flight in economy class.
In the evening, we drove to Kajang with our nephew's family to try out the popular Kajang satay at a Haji Samuri outlet in Bangunan Dato Nazir.
The two storey restaurant was crowded as we arrived.
These two young men were preparing satay in the open kitchen.
Satay time!
We ordered a total of 70 sticks of satay - chicken, beef, mutton and perut (stomach). Among the four kinds of satay, the chicken satay was the best - lean and chunky, well
marinated, juicy and tender.
The best Satay kuah (sauce) I have ever tasted.
ketupat and cucumber, a must to go with satay.

Nice photos. Glas you and family enjoyed the satay kajang experience.
Just my two cents. To KL-ians, the satay Haji Samuri ais easily the most overrated of all satay kajangs out there. If you're in Kajang specifically and looking for satays, there are other better places like the Urat Keting (UK) satay in Bangi (15 min drive from Kajang).
However if you're outside of Kajang, then the Haji Samuri satay is worthwhile because of the many franchise outlets it has :)
Thank you very much for the information. Will try Urat Keting satay in Bangi the next time we visit KL.
