FLOOD HIT WEST COAST AND THE INTERIOR OF SABAH

With heavy downpour non-stop since Monday, low lying areas in Papar, Membakut, Beaufort, Sipitang and Tenom have been flooded.
The train service between Kota Kinabalu and Tenom has been suspended since then.
Many parts of the Kota kinabalu-Beaufort "highway" are still under water. Only 4WDs and heavy vehicles are allowed to use the road.
The low lying area near Beaufort.

With the swift action taken by the Sabah State Natural Disaster Committee, thousands of affected flood victims were sent to the evacuation and relief centers in various districts where shelter, food and medical care are available.

According to the Meteorological Department of Sabah, better weather condition is expected  in the next few days. Hopefully, the flood water will recede then.
