INFLIGHT MEALS - 5 STAR AIRLINES

2 weeks ago we flew to Kuala Lumpur on board our National Airlines' A300-200. It was a pleasant and comfortable flight as the weather was good all the way. Cruising into the sunset
.
Dinner was served for this 2 hours and 30 minutes flight. However, It was another disappointment as the meal was horrible.

I believed the Airlines was still trying hard to cut cost. They served the same lousy meal with a few slices of fruit and a cheap packet of Kit Kat. Closed-up of the main meal - Soggy fish slices, dried up steamed rice and the broccoli was over-cooked !

On our return journey, the weather was very good so it was a smooth flight throughout. The aircraft was flying towards the South China Sea - leaving the coast of Kuantan. Surprisingly, the brunch served was better than the dinner from Kota Kinabalu.

My wife selected the Airlines' signature dish of charcoal-grilled Satay with fried rice. This foam tray came with mineral water, a slice of fruit cake and Ferrero Rocker chocolate. It was good!

I had this "Murtabak with dhal" which looked presentable. Normally, Murtabak" are crispy and taste best when freshly cooked unlike this one which was soggy and tasteless. Perhaps, it is not a good idea to uplift "Murtabak" as an Inflight meal.
