KOTA KINABALU - BANGKOK

We are now taking a few days break in Bangkok. We flew Malaysia Airlines all the way from Kota Kinabalu to Bangkok via Kuala lumpur last Saturday. What a disappointment....this 5 star Airlines still serving their meals in paper boxes on the 2 hours and 10 minutes A330 flight from Kota Kinabalu to Kuala Lumpur. This box came with a small Spritzer mineral water, a small bar of Kit kat chocolate, 3 small slices of fruit and the main course of either Nasi Briyani Chicken or the usual soggy Sweet and sour fish with steamed rice.

The in flight meal for the 2 hours and 5 minutes flight to Bangkok in the smaller B737-400 was slightly better.

The brunch was served in a foam box. Satay and fried rice.Beef slices with noddles.

The same mineral water but with the bonus of Ferrero Rocher, Fruit cake and surprisingly, the Haagen Dazs ice cream.
